After breakfast, drive together to Gulmarg (~2 hrs). Ride the Gondola Phase I & II (on direct payment) for views of the Himalayan range and the LoC. Walk hand-in-hand through alpine meadows, or in winter, play in the snow and try a beginner ski lesson. Lunch at a meadowside café. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight on houseboat.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (~2.5 hrs) via the saffron fields of Pampore. Check in to your boutique hotel by the Lidder river. Afternoon at leisure — walk along the river or book a couple massage at the hotel spa (optional). Evening: bonfire dinner under the open sky. Overnight in Pahalgam.
A full day of romantic sightseeing in the Pahalgam region. Visit Betaab Valley (named after the Bollywood film), the alpine Aru Valley with its pristine meadows, and Chandanwari — the starting point of the Amarnath yatra.
