Arrive at Srinagar airport. Our driver greets you and transfers you to your traditional Kashmiri houseboat on Dal Lake. After check-in and lunch, enjoy a relaxed shikara ride to the floating gardens and the Char Chinar island. Evening at leisure — watch the sunset from the houseboat deck with a hot cup of Kahwa. Overnight on houseboat.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (~55 km, 2 hrs) — the "meadow of flowers." Ride Asia's highest cable car (the Gulmarg Gondola Phase I & II, on direct payment basis) for spectacular views of Apharwat peak. Optional: pony rides, snow play in winter, or the Gulmarg golf course in summer. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight on houseboat / hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (~95 km, 2.5 hrs) via saffron fields of Pampore and the cricket bat factories of Anantnag. Explore Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari (entry on direct payment). Optional pony ride to Mini-Switzerland or river rafting on the Lidder. Return drive to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight in Srinagar.
Morning visit to the Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi — followed by Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views. After lunch, time for last-minute shopping in Lal Chowk (pashmina, saffron, walnut wood crafts). Transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward flight. End of services.
